Whether you're a newbie or a professional, all those interested in badminton are welcome to participate in mixed teams of two, or women's or men's doubles. We offer two levels: doubles hobby and doubles profi. Every player and every team can only play in one level!

Registration occurs in pairs, regardless if mixed, women's doubles, or men's doubles, and in one of two categories: hobby or professional. For organizational purposes participation is only allowed in one of the two categories. Participants who register in both categories will be removed from the hobby category list and must play in the professional category. We ask for your understanding.
All participants must register as present with the tournament director in the gymnasium by 10am the day of the event.
Members of the University: 7 euros per person
Guests: 15 euros per person
Games are played as mixed doubles. This means that all possible team configurations – mixed, women's doubles, men's doubles – are allowed.
Matches are first played in group games and then according to the simple double knock-out system. Consideration is given to each participant during the knock-out round.
The tournament is played according to the official rules of the German Badminton Association.
Players decide whether they wish to play with plastic or natural shuttlecocks. Participants must bring their own natural shuttlecocks. The University Sports Center will provide the plastic shuttlecocks.
Refreshments will be offered at Stadion Königshügel.
