The institute olympiads are a special part of the RWTH FH Sports Day: teams of students, employees, and professors from the institutes at the Aachen universities face off to compete in different sports and dexterity games. The most important thing is a feeling of togetherness and identification with the Aachen universities.

During the institute olympiads performance, dexterity, and team spirit are particularly necessary! Institutes of the Aachen universities face off in six different sports, dexterity, and knowledge games. Teams are made up of four to eight people. All members of the institutes, whether student, teacher, or staff, are invited to create a team and compete against other institutes and institutions.
Whether Crossboccia, Quiz-Biking, or Laser-Biathlon – the different game stations ensure a lot of fun and athletic challenges. Each year new and exciting game ideas await the participating teams. The most important factor is good teamwork! Points can be collected at every station. The team with the most points at the end wins.
In the mixed teams institute members can get to know each other in an entertaining and sporty manner. The institute olympiad also offers the possibility to informally get in touch with other institutions of Aachens universities.

The Institute Olympiads are held at the Stadion Königshügel.
Unlike other University Sports offers, participants in this event are not protected by insurance. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you acquire your own insurance cover.
