Volleyball Level 1

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is targeted towards interested individuals with no or little playing and training experience, for example from physical education class in school.

Content and Objectives

The basic techniques setting and bumping, serving from below, and general playing rules will be taught using exercises and small playing field games.

At the end of the course players are able to maintain a continuous flow of play. The playing system applied is targeted towards beginners and is played in the lower performance classes. Passing occurs via the front player in position 3 in the middle. Balls coming over the net can be kept in play and passed to both outside hitters via position 3. The basic rules of volleyball as well as the skills of positions of 1 to 6 compose the theory component.

Volleyball Level 2

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is targeted towards beginners who possess the technical skills from Level 1 and only have a little or occasional playing or training experience.

Content and Objectives

The fundamentals of attacks and blocks as well as overhand serving will be taught. The basic techniques from Level 1 are soldified and improved. Participants are given an introduction to playing with a pass via position 2.
At the end of the course players will have mastered an effective build-up along with a playing a game based on position 2. Focus is placed on basic attacks from the side and middle. The introduction of blocking through practical exercises and defending set balls supplement the practical component. Refereeing forms the theoretical component.

Volleyball Level 3

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is targeted towards experienced players who have mastered the basic techniques and are interested in initial tactical experience.

Content and Objectives

The goal of the course is to improve attacking and defence. Long line and diagonal shots will be perfected and participants will learn additional techniques such as touches. Defensive playing will be expanded through defensive techniques such as diving, double blocks, and safeguarding. Passing takes place via position 2 and is extensively practiced. Libero positions and position changes supplement the theoretical portion.
At the end of the course participants will have mastered various play build-ups with multiple attack options. The most important component is positional play in all play situations, which contains safeguarding in the event of one's own attack, double blocking with shadow blocking, and defensive play near the net.

Volleyball Level 4

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is targeted towards advanced players with basic tactical skills, who wish to round out their playing ability.

Content and Objectives

The objective of the course is to improve both offensive play and passing such as quick hits, combinations, and spiking as well as the the facilitation of different variets of attack such as float serves, jumping serves, and attacks to opposing runners. Defensive play is supplemented with the introduction of blocks of three. Passing via position 2 is also practiced extensively. Coverage systems supplement the theory component.

At the end of the course participants will be able to play at the division level. Various possibilities when passing and attacking includ combinations as well as awareness for the appropriate form of attack. Jumping and float serves make the game diversified, quick, and demanding right from the start. The coverage system leads to participants learning the final varieties of volleyball.

Volleyball Level 4

Volleyball Games

Target Group and Prerequisites

The supervised indoor volleyball games are targeted towards players of all skill levels. Volleyball games are offered on all weekdays.

Content and Objectives

No technical training takes place; these games are just about the fun of playing. The instructor will assign the players to the three courts at the beginning of the session. Set up and take down are completed together.

Registration for Chargeable Course Operation

Offers are chargeable and require registration. Dates in the relevant course period can be booked either all at once or one at a time. The booking option “All Dates” is available from the start of online booking for the course period and the booking option “Individual Date” is unlocked 24 hours before the start of the individual date.
