Ski Area
The Silvretta Montafon is without a doubt one of Austria’s top skiing destinations, featuring a perfectly connected ski circuit with nearly 36 lifts and 158 kilometers of slopes at altitudes ranging from 1,000 to almost 2,400 meters. The area offers a well-balanced mix of easy, intermediate, and very challenging runs, as well as several secured off-piste routes.
Approximately 900 meters from our house, the gondola lift from the valley station in St. Gallenkirch provides seamless access to the Hochjoch ski area. A ski and snowboard depot is available at the valley station. We highly recommend taking the free ski bus to the high-altitude freeride area Gargellen and the neighboring ski area around Schruns and Tschagguns, which adds another 90 kilometers of slopes.
Accommodation
Our lodging offers simple but cozy comfort. The rooms with small sleeping units are spread over three floors. All rooms are equipped with single or double beds and sinks. Each floor has two bathrooms with showers and toilets. There are also separate restrooms on the ground floor.
On the ground floor, you will also find the heated ski storage room, the large group kitchen with pantry, a reception with telephone, a small common room, and the spacious wood-paneled dining and lounge area with a bar.
Meals
Self-catering is organized and managed collectively by the group — a good mood in the cooking teams is guaranteed. Grocery shopping will be organized centrally.
Everyone is expected to help in a cooking group for one day. Despite great effort to provide vegan options, a fully vegan diet cannot be guaranteed.
