Salsa is a couple dance. Participants must register in pairs. If you want to participate in the course but do not have a partner, you can search for a dance partner in the Sportpartnerbörse, our sports partner exchange.

West Coast Swing All Levels
Target Group and Prerequisites
West Coast Swing emerged in the fifties on the West Coast of the United States (hence the name). It has since its introduction been continually evolving, incorporating new music trends and their interpretations into the dances movements and figures. For this reason it can be danced to almost all music with a 4/4 rhythmic pattern and is suitable for everybody who enjoys music and movement.
Content and Objectives
The movements are performed with finesse and without abrupt maneuvers, meaning that all figures in West Coast Swing appear soft, smooth and fluid. For this reason the West Coast Swing offers a lot of room for improvisation and fun with music and movement.
