Hit the slopes with the HSZ: Two snow events for winter sports enthusiasts

The RWTH University Sports Center (HSZ) welcomes the winter semester with two action-packed events: the Snowevent on 5 November and the ALMA Snowevent on 19 November attract both newcomers and experienced winter sports enthusiasts to the slopes of SnowWorld Landgraaf. Here they can take part in various courses and workshops together and get the ball rolling for the first unforgettable runs of the winter season.

Workshops and courses
At both snow events, all ski and snowboard courses are supervised by instructors trained by the HSZ. Beginners' courses are offered from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., but prior registration is necessary due to the limited number of places. There are also courses for advanced winter sports enthusiasts, for example in the areas of technique, pole skiing or in the fun park. No separate course registration is required. However, general registration for the event is required for all participants. To enable a sustainable journey, the HSZ offers a shared shuttle bus transfer to the ski hall in Landgraaf. The buses will be waiting at Bendplatz between 18:00 and 19:15. The return journey with the shuttle buses takes place between 22:30 and 0:15.


ALMA Snowevent
As an international highlight of the HSZ and the university sports facilities in Liége, Hasselt-Diepenbeek and Maastricht, the ALMA Snowevent also promises an unforgettable experience and lots of fun. In contrast to the first Snowevent, all courses and workshops will be held in English.


Start of registration
The start of registration at the beginning of October was a great success. The beginners' courses are already fully booked for both events. There are still places available for the ALMA snow event for experienced snow sports fans.
