Beginner and Intermediate Sailing Cruise Bookable from April 7, 2026
As a complement to our two-week SKS practical cruise, we offer a one-week beginner and intermediate sailing cruise. This offer is aimed at sailing enthusiasts with little or no prior experience who are looking for a relaxed and well-founded introduction to yacht sailing while also establishing a solid foundation for a possible SKS practical cruise in the following year.
The cruise is designed as a shorter and less demanding variant of the SKS cruise. It combines sailing training with a vacation atmosphere and allows ample time to get to know life on board, the area, and sailing at a leisurely pace, without exam pressure or an overloaded schedule.
The focus remains on the fundamentals of yacht sailing: maneuvers under sail and motor, watch systems, initial navigational concepts, as well as safe and relaxed teamwork within the crew. If interested, we will also provide a realistic picture of what the SKS training entails and what is important there.
This cruise also emphasizes that sailing is a team sport. Taking responsibility, making decisions together, and learning from each other are just as important as visiting beautiful harbors and enjoying relaxed evenings together on board. The goal is to gain confidence in handling yachts, develop joy in sailing, and spark interest in more adventures. The Baltic Sea offers ideal conditions for this purpose. It is easily accessible, very diverse, and provides protected and open waters along with many small harbors—perfect practice grounds for entering the world of yachting. With a bit of luck, we might even spot porpoises or seals, which will certainly make the week unforgettable.
