Participation Fee

Members of the University: eight Euros per person
Guests: 16 Euros per person

Game Mode

We will first play a preliminary round in groups, so that each team plays multiple games. Afterwards, the two best teams from each group will play in a knock-out round. Games are timed.

Rules of the Game

The tournament is played according to the rules of the German Tennis Federation.
We ask that you adhere to the terms of use for the tennis courts at Prof.-Pirlet-Straße. Please note that you are required to have appropriate shoes with a herringbone pattern in order to play on the clay courts and participate in the tournament. This is not only for your own safety, as the risk of injury is higher when wearing inappropriate shoes, but also to avoid unncessary damage to the clay.

Materials and Balls

We highly recommend wearing shoes suitable for the clay court when participating in the tournament. This means wearing designated tennis shoes with a herringbone tread pattern. Participants cannot play if they do not have the appropriate shoes.
Balls will be provided by the University Sports Center. Players must bring their own rackets.

Refreshments

Refreshments will be offered at Stadion Königshügel.

Implementation

The tournament director reserves the right to postpone the tournament in the event of constant rain.
