Judo, translated from Japanese as "the gentle way," is one of the most well-known Olympic martial arts. By skillfully using the body, throwing techniques are employed to bring the opponent to the ground. In ground fighting, a match can be won using hold downs, locking, and choking techniques. Judo training consists of elements familiar from other sports, such as endurance, strength, and technique. The values of respect and fairness are of central importance and guide the communal training. Experience judo and join our large, open community full of student events and sporting challenges.
