RWTH FH Sports Day
When the University Sports Center opens its gates for the RWTH FH Sports Day, everyone is invited to come and learn about the Aachen University Sports' diverse program. Eight tournaments and a ton of exciting taster events attract over 3,500 students, professors, and employees from the Aachen universities each summer to Königshügel and the gym and indoor swimming pool at Ahornstraße.

Sampling Not Studying
Current Situation
Due to the interim construction of the sports hall on the grass field, the RWTH FH Sports Day will be reduced in size. First the good news: The Institute Olympics and the tournaments (except for the small field soccer tournament on the grass field) will take place at the RWTH FH Sportsday. Due to the extensive construction work and the interim halls on our premises, we unfortunately have to do without the many great stands of up to 100 sports this year. However, we will still offer an inviting program, set up a lounge and celebrate a great sports festival.
Participate and Try Things Out
As the largest sports provider in the region, the University Sports Center offers over 50 taster events annually, in which anyone can participate free of charge. RWTH FH Sports Day is an outstanding opportunity to try out the more unusual activities like lacrosse, gym wheel gymnastics, and ultimate frisbee in addition to the traditional sports like soccer, tennis, and volleyball.
Taster Courses, Tournaments, and Institute Olympiad
An additional highlight aside from the numerous tournaments is the institute olympiad, where different institutes and institutions of the Aachen universities compete in exciting disciplines. In order to really see the entire spectrum of the University Sports' offers, no lectures are held at RWTH and the FH in the afternoon. In the evening the victorious teams from the institute olympiad and other tournaments are honored on a central stage at Stadion Königshügel.
Cozy Ending in the Chillout Lounge and Then Onwards to the Aftershow Party!
After the award ceremony participants can head to the chillout lounge to end the day in a cozy environment with musical accompaniment. The crowning conclusion is the aftershow party in the Apollo organized by the RWTH Students' Union Committee.
Directions
The RWTH FH Sports Day is held at the sports facilities of University Sports Center. On the day of the event, RWTH car park, Professor-Pirlet-Straße 10, is open for you until 12 midnight. Please consider that you require a valid RWTH parking card.
Cancellation
In the case of withdrawal from the paid offers (tournaments and courses) of the RWTH FH Sports Day within 14 days of the day of the event, a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the entry fee will be charged, if the reserved space cannot be given to another team or participant. Cancellations or withdrawals must in any case be carried out in written form . For each cancellation, a processing fee of 5 percent of the course fee, but at least 5 euros, will be charged. The processing fee will be added to the cancellation fee. In case of cancellation on the day of the event or in default of appearance, participants and teams are not entitled to refund.

Insurance Coverage
Unlike the other University Sports offers, there is no additional insurance coverage when participating in events. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you acquire your own insurance cover.
Photographs and Film Recordings
The RWTH Aachen University Sports Center reserves the right to take photographs and make film recordings during the event for its own publicity and information purposes. By signing up for or purchasing admission to the event, participants agree to this use. Due to administrative reasons, those who object to this must raise their objection with the University Sports Center by email within one week of the end of the event.
