Ballet Level 1
Target Group and Prerequisites
This level is targeted towards participants with little to no previous ballet experience.
Content and Objectives
In this course participants are taught the fundamentals. Participants will be taught basic barre exercises as well as movement in the room.
At the end of course participants will be familiar with basic terms and techniques that can be combined into simple choreography.
Ballet Level 2
Target Group and Prerequisites
The level is targeted towards participants familiar with basic ballet steps and terms. The course encompasses basic barre exercises, floor exercises, and those from the corner. If you are uncertain if this course is suitable for you, please contact the course instructor.
Content and Objectives
At the end of the course, individual elements will be combined into small combinations. Objectives include improving general mobility and expanding the repertoire of steps learned.
Ballet Level 3
Target Group and Prerequisites
To participate at this level you must have completed Level 2 or have many years of previous ballet experience. Comprehensive knowledge of all fundamental elements and more advanced elements is required.
Content and Objectives
In this course participants learn challenging choreography and aim to perfect classical and modern elements. Pirouettes and leaps are included in longer combinations. At the end of the course participants possess a comprehensive ballet vocabulary and are able combine elements in a variety of ways.
