Notes regarding the interim sports hall

We kindly ask for your understanding that due to the extraordinary temporary interim situation, the usual room climate cannot always be guaranteed.

Equipment

To participate you must bring a separate, clean pair of gym shoes. Boxing gloves can be rented for the duration of the whole course via the boxing glove rental. There are also boxing gloves available at the gym. They are handed out at the beginning of the course sessions and have to be returned at the end of the class.

Special Participation Requirements

Boxing requires concentration and speed and trains your reflexes. Learning to box requires active and disciplined behavior in training. Boxing is a full contact sport. Respect is a basic requirement and expected from all participants.

Each training session starts with a joint warm-up. Hence, participants are expected to show up on time.

Note for lateral entrants: Every martial art has from its rule set developed its own set of techniques and patterns of behavior. For that reason, it is also sensible for participants from other martial arts to go through the learning chronology starting at level 1.
