Forro

Forró is a partly wild, partly sensual, traditional Brazilian couple dance and style of music. It combines elements of Salsa, Lambada, Discofox, Tango Argentino, Zouk and Kizomba.

We kindly ask for your understanding that due to the extraordinary temporary interim situation, the usual room climate cannot always be guaranteed.

Materials

You must wear clean shoes to participate and adhere to the requirements specific to the sports facility where your class is held.

Special Participation Requirements

If you have previous dance experience but are uncertain which course is right for you, then drop by our open training. We are happy to help! As the courses build on each other, we recommend that you visit them consecutively.

Forro Level 1

Target Group and Prerequisites

This level is targeted towards participants with little to no Forró experience.

Content and Objectives

Forró is a partly wild, partly sensual traditional brasilian dance and music style. Elements from Salsa, Lambada, Discofox, Tango Argentino, Zouk and Kizomba are combined.

Target Group and Prerequisites

This level is targeted towards participants who have completed Level 1 or already have at least 3 months of other experience in Forró. To take part in the course, participants must register as couples, however partners are frequently changed in the course.
