It is that time again: Lousberglauf 2026 powered by STAWAG. We would like to provide you with the last important information about the run:
Start
Wednesday, July 1, 2025 at 7 p.m.
Start number
Plase wear the start numbers on your chest! The start numbers must not be bent in any way and under any circumstances. The needles should not pierce the chip on the back of the number. Otherwise no time measurement can be guaranteed.
Start number distribution at Renate-von-Brause Haus (RVB), Rütscher Str 155.
Individual runners and teams with less than 10 persons have to pick up the start numbers individually, or give the booking confirmation to another person.
For teams of 10 or more people, race numbers will be given to team captains only. Unlike in previous years, the start number distribution for these teams will not take place on Monday but also at the normal start number distribution on Tuesday and Wednesday before the race.
The start numbers will be handed out on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on the day of the event, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.. After 6 p.m. start numbers will not be handed out anymore.
We kindly ask everyone to arrive on time, otherwise there is a risk of forfeiting the race number and the right to start. Please bring your registration confirmation for the start number collection.
Late registration and re-registration
Late registrations are no longer possible in 2025!
Result lists
The result lists can be viewed after the event at the information desk and in front of the foyer of the start number distribution. They will be published at the latest the next day at the Lousberg Run event page..
Car parking
There are NO parking spaces in the start and finish area and along the course! Cars parked there will be towed away for safety reasons!
We published the current information about this at the Lousberg Run event page.
Bicycle parking
We urge all cyclists not to park their bicycles in the finish area but on the specially arranged bicycle parking lot at the Theodore-von-Kármán-Haus (TvK), Rütscher Str. 121 (1st entrance). Under no circumstances may bicycles be attached to the barrier bars during or after the event. We are forced to open the locks of the bikes that are nevertheless attached to one of the barrier grids by force.
Costume Competition
Once again, we are hosting our popular costume competition this year – with great prizes sponsored by STAWAG (vouchers for the Carolus Thermen spa, cinema vouchers, and Elsen products) as well as MOB and Club Eimer (drink vouchers).
How to participate:
Have your photo taken in your costume with your race number clearly visible. Photos can be taken during race number pick-up, at the information desk, or by our volunteers around the event area.
Both individual runners and teams are welcome to participate. The only requirement is that the race number must be clearly visible in the photo. Before the race, all photos will be evaluated by a jury consisting of representatives from the Türme, FuFah, and the HSZ.
In addition, the jury will be keeping an eye out for especially creative costumes at the start of the Lousberglauf. This means that participants who have not yet been photographed will still have the opportunity to be considered.
There will be no separate rankings for individuals and teams – all costumes will be judged together using the same criteria.
The winners will be announced and honoured on stage during the official award ceremony.
So get creative, dress up, and show us your most original costumes! We are looking forward to seeing lots of imaginative ideas and to celebrating a colourful Lousberglauf together with you!
Net time measurement
The net time will be measured. Only when passing the start gate the individual time measurement starts.
Award ceremony certificates
We and the winners of the run would be pleased if you would come to the ceremony after the run - in front of the stage - in large numbers.
Certificates
As of 2023 we will no longer be able to print out certificates on site. The best way to get y hard copy of your certificate is to print it yourself. The link to the printout can be found after the race at the Lousberg Run event page.
Bag drop-off
You can drop-off your bags at the bag drop-off point at the ASEAG bus. The bag drop-off will be manned from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. the latest. We are not liable for any items of value.
Starting field
The start numbers may not be passed on under any circumstances and entitle only the registered person to start. Unauthorized starters will be disqualified. At the start number distribution you will receive an allocation to your starting field. With the first signal, all runners from the first starting field will start. Afterwards all the runners from the starting field 2 will advance to starting field 1. Then the second signal for starting field 2 would be given.
Fairness and consideration
We ask all runners to position themselves in their assigned starting field and to be considerate of others during the race.
Warm up
We ask all runners to properly warm up before the start!
Emergency contact
Upon request, you can receive an adhesive label at the race number distribution, on which you could leave a contact name and telephone number in case of emergency. This label should be affixed to the back of the start number (in the middle).
Sports health
Due to possibly high temperatures, we advise all runners to ensure that they drink enough fluids. In case of very high temperature and in general, we recommend you not to overstrain yourself physically. Cross the finish line healthy and on two legs.
Catering
Behind the finish line exit, there is a free distribution of fruit and water for all runners. On the second event area, there are food stands. Drinks and food could be purchased there.
Changing and showering facilities
Unfortunately there is no changing and showering facilities on site.
The Lousberglauf team wishes everyone success and fun at the event!
