Every year the hockey team takes part in the German University Championships in hockey. Moreover there are further tournaments which you can find in the competition calendar of the Allgemeinen Deutschen Hochschulverband.

Indoor Hockey Level 1

Target Group and Prerequisites

This offer is targeted towards interested individuals with little to no hockey experience and who want to learn a new sport.

Content and Objectives

Participants are given a comprehensive introduction to indoor hockey, learn the rules, and acquire a basic understanding of the sport. Technical skills such as passing, accepting, and controlling the ball and scoring goals will be taught. Participants' first introduction to hockey games will simply be through scoring. They will also learn individual skills such as rushing, accompanying, aborting, and circulating.

Indoor Hockey Levels 2-3

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is targeted towards participants, who know the basic rules of indoor hockey and have more or less mastered the techniques in Level 1, particularly securely accepting the ball while standing.

Content and Objectives

The techniques, tactics, and rules learned in Level 1 will be explored further and expanded to include important new ones. Targeted exercises and more complex forms of playing improve the existing basic techniques and expand fundamental individual, tactical skills such as one-on-one defense and running from out of cover. Furthermore, Level 2-3 introduces and advances group elements for offensive play such as double passes and combination play and for defensive play, such as blocks of two.
