Golf is a highly varied sport. It trains, amongst other things, endurance and dexterity. The University Sports Center cooperates with Haus Kambach to offer golf courses, where the basics of the sport of golf can be learned.

Equipment

In the Level 1 courses, the clubs are provided. In the Level 2 courses, you will need your own golf equipment to play.

Golf balls are not provided. Thirty six driving range golf balls are available on site for three euros.
The number of balls required per course session varies individually. Own balls are required for playing on the course.

Golf Level 1

Target Group and Requirements

This course is targeted towards anyone who wants to learn to play golf or who has little previous experience. Golf is equally suited for both men and women.

Contents and Goals

The courses cover all the important aspects of the sport of golf such as swing technique, playing with iron clubs, chipping, pitching, and the rules of golf. Ten lessons of 60 minutes each are offered within the course period. The individual units can also be combined into lessons on the course. Additionally, participants are permitted free use of the practice range for the duration of the course period and can obtain the Haus Kambach course permit.

Organizational Hints

There is an introductory session at an information evening before the courses begin. Attendance at the information evening before the start of the course is mandatory. Unexcused absence from the information evening will lead to exclusion from the course. Candidates on the waiting list have the chance to move up if they were present at the information evening.

In principle, the appointment will take place at the booked time. However, dates can be rescheduled or combined in mutual agreement with the golf instructor. The remaining amount of 160 Euro is to be paid in cash on site at the information evening.

Golf Level 2

Target Group and Requirements

The HSZ is collaborating with Haus Kambach to offer Level 2 courses for experienced golfers.

Contents and Goals

This course builds off of the Level 1 course and expands and advances the skills learned in Level 1. The Level 2 courses comprise ten lessons of 60 minutes each with a golf professional. The individual units can also be combined into lessons on the course. Additionally, participants are permitted free use of the practice range for the duration of the course period.

All participants of this course are granted permission to use the 18-hole golf course for the duration of the course. The requirement for this is a course license or the issued course permit by the golf instructor. Own equipment is required. The green fee for 9 holes is 15 euros and for 18 holes 29 euros.
