"Ready! Down! Set hut!" - that's how a classic play in American football begins. In cooperation with the AFC Aachen Vampires e. V., the Aachen University Sports Center offers American Football as well as a variant without physical contact called Flag Football, which is played as a mixed game.

The goal of the game is to gain space through passing and running plays and to get the ball into the opponent's end zone. Two teams play against each other. While "tackles" are allowed in American football, flag football is played without contact. In addition to a lot of tactics, both game variants are characterized by a fast, pass-oriented game, which requires its players above all coordination, speed and game overview.
