Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art that combines many aspects of other Japanese martial arts but retains its own unique character. The objective is not to overcome the opposing person but to flow together with the partner's movements, in order to redirect the attack into another direction.

Notes regarding the interim sports hall

We kindly ask for your understanding that due to the extraordinary temporary interim situation, the usual room climate cannot always be guaranteed.

Materials

Comfortable tear proof clothing, which to prevent scrapes should cover knees and elbows, is sufficient.

Due to the risk of injury, we urge you not to wear watches or jewelry.

Aikido All Levels

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is targeted towards anyone who wishes to learn aikido, regardless of prior experience. On all of the dates, beginners and more advanced athletes train together, in order to be able to learn from each other.

Content and Objectives

Because the content of the course builds on itself, regular participation is desirable. Additionally, although not compulsory, participation in multiple courses per week is preferable, as it enables more in-depth learning.

Of great importance, is the respectful and attentive treatment of our training partners, regardless of any differences. The aim is to create a space, that allows the development of our attitudes within and without.
