Aachen university sports present their breadth at the University Sports Show. With a great degree of creativity and aesthetic the sports group's spectacular choreography ensure a unique highlight during the winter semester in Aachen.

The first predecessor of the current University Sports Show was held in 1973 under the name "University Winter Sports Festival." However, because the performances in the winter were mostly by the sports teaching training students, the event was soon renamed University Sports Show. Even though the show attribute of the event was in the background, the event established itself as an evening of performances.
In 1990, a stage was erected for the first time, on which athletes could show off their acts. This was also the first year where the event was moderated. Every year more and more university sports groups from different sports disciplines participated, motivated to present their sports and to work on a show act aside from the regular course offerings. Before the show athletes are honored who have earned respect through their athletic achievements.
Thus, the former university winter sports fest slowly grew to become a show with diverse performances from University Sports. Today, the event is one of the highlights of the winter semester.

Once a year all of the sports groups of the Aachen University Sports Center show their abilities – An entertaining and exciting, not to mention sold out, show rocks the full house. Martial art demonstrations, the artistic acrobatics of the aero wheel performers, and Oriental dance are just a few of the many highlights offered thanks to the extensive student involvement on this evening.
During the show the athletic achievements and volunteer involvements of RWTH and FH students are also honored. The awarding of the Top Class Sports Prize by STAWAG and the Volunteer Prize by Sparkasse Aachen are a traditional component of the evening.
Tickets are non-exchangeable.
There is no insurance coverage for participation in events, unlike regular participation in university sports offerings. Therefore, we strongly recommend obtaining your own insurance coverage.
The University Sports Center of RWTH Aachen reserves the right to take photos and video recordings during the event for its own promotional and informational purposes. By registering or purchasing an admission ticket, participants and contributors agree to this use. For organizational reasons, individuals who do not wish this must submit their objection via email to the University Sports Center within one week after the event concludes.
